Future workshops & scouting expeditions
Some trips are ready to book. Others start here — as ideas, scouting journeys and routes I want to test properly before turning them into finished photography workshops.
The workshop starts long before anyone books it.
I would rather scout a destination properly than build a workshop from somebody else’s itinerary. These are the places I’m currently researching, testing and photographing with the aim of turning the strongest routes into future small-group workshops.
If one of them speaks to you, register your interest. There is no commitment — it simply means I know to contact you when dates, pricing or the final itinerary develop.
Where I’m heading next
Scouting
Sapa, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay and Hoi An — mist, street life, limestone landscapes and the coast in one ambitious scouting journey.
Scouting
Northern Thailand, Luang Prabang and Angkor — a visual journey through temples, river culture, markets and some of Southeast Asia’s most atmospheric places.
Kerala and the Western Ghats — tea country, misty hills, backwaters, fishing communities, markets and the tropical southwest coast.
An island-focused landscape trip built around dramatic coast, volcanic terrain and the challenge of creating a strong photographic route without rushing between too many islands.
Sabah and Sarawak with a mix of orangutans, proboscis monkeys, river mornings, rainforest, mountain landscapes and coastal photography.
A landscape-led route centred on volcanic Java, working landscapes, rice terraces and island light — designed to avoid becoming a generic “see everything” Indonesia tour.
A future route through the Cultural Triangle, central highlands, wildlife and the south coast, timed around one of the strongest photographic windows for the classic circuit.
If there is a destination you would love to see become a future workshop, tell me. Some of the best trip ideas start with a conversation.
