Common questions
What skill level do I need?
You should know the basics — aperture, shutter speed, ISO. These aren't beginner courses, but you don't need to be a professional. If you've shot in manual mode, you're ready.
What camera gear should I bring?
Any interchangeable lens camera works. A wide-angle and a short telephoto covers most situations. A detailed, destination-specific kit list is sent before your workshop, so you can pack with confidence.
How do I secure my spot?
Send an enquiry for your chosen workshop. Once availability is confirmed, a deposit secures your booking. The balance is due 120 days before departure; bookings within 120 days require full payment. Full details are provided before you book and are subject to our workshop terms and conditions.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes, mandatory. You'll need comprehensive travel and medical cover. Your policy should cover the destinations and activities on your itinerary, including medical emergencies and evacuation where relevant. Ask if you need guidance.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely — most participants book solo. You'll be paired with a same-gender roommate unless you request a single supplement, subject to availability and an additional charge. Let me know your preference when enquiring.
