Common questions
What skill level do I need?
You should know the basics — aperture, shutter speed, ISO. These aren't beginner courses, but you don't need to be a professional. If you've shot in manual mode, you're ready.
What camera gear should I bring?
Any interchangeable lens camera works. A wide-angle and a short telephoto covers most situations. A full kit list is sent after booking.
How do I secure my spot?
A deposit holds your place immediately. Balance is due 8 weeks before departure. Spots are capped at 6 and fill months in advance — early booking is strongly advised.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes, mandatory. You'll need comprehensive travel and medical cover. Neil can recommend providers on request.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely — most participants book solo. You'll be paired with a same-gender roommate unless you request a single supplement, arrangeable after booking.
