Weather changes rapidly, so we'll be flexible and chase good light. Even challenging conditions can create epic shots.

No words can fully capture Lofoten’s raw Arctic magic—where emerald Northern Lights swirl over frozen fjords and snow-dusted peaks plunge into ink-black seas. This workshop immerses you in landscapes sculpted by extremes, from Henningsvær’s fishing cabins clinging to granite islands to the wind-carved curves of Uttakleiv’s beaches. Every frame here feels like discovering a secret the world forgot, where nature’s drama unfolds in cinematic scale. You’ll witness firsthand why these islands haunt photographers’ dreams long after they leave.

We’ll chase the Aurora’s dance across icy skies, but also the drama of March’s fleeting light—storm clouds painting monochrome seascapes at Skagsanden, or the way twilight gilds Reine’s iconic red rorbuer. Here, weather is our co-creator: blizzards add motion to long exposures, sudden fog wraps mountains in mystery, and calm nights transform into celestial theaters. You’ll learn to read the light like a local, turning fleeting moments into timeless images while mastering techniques for extreme conditions.
